For your comfort, we recommend
the following guidelines to help prevent motion
sickness:
1) After checking
with your family physician for his/her approval, we recommend an
over-the-counter product called Bonine. Start by taking one-half
tablet the night before your trip followed by one-half
tablet the morning of your trip.
2) Ginger capsules,
available at most health food stores.
3) Be sure to get a
good, full nights sleep prior to your trip.
4) Do not eat a big
dinner or breakfast before arriving. Try to avoid greasy
or heavy foods before departure.
5) Minimize
consumption of: coffee, cola products, or any
drink such as Mountain Dew that contain large quantities
of caffeine.
6) Drink plenty of
water during your trip.
